FAQ's

What is holistic medicine?

Holistic medicine means treating the whole person – physically, mentally, emotionally.   We consider your family situation, your work, social demands and lifestyle and work together with you to heal whichever area of your life is out of balance.

What is Iridology?

Iridology is a non-invasive, physical examination of the eye using a loop (magnifying tool) that allows us to assess patterns, colors, and other characteristics of the iris to determine information about your systemic health.  Identifying your body’s inherent strengths and weaknesses is the foundation for recognizing when you are becoming out of alignment and determining specifically what you need to do to maintain your optimal health.

What is virtual Iridology?

Virtual Iridology is a scheduled visit with the Iridologist which can be performed remotely by telephone when a close up photograph of each eye is provided via email to the Iridologist prior to the visit.

What happens at my first visit?

Once you have made an appointment, you will be asked to complete a questionnaire which includes all areas of your health history, as well as the current conditions that you want treated.  This will help us to understand your needs and expectations.

During your examination, Carla Buscaglia will consult with you to establish your diagnosis and discuss your treatment plan.  Carla’s extensive research ensures that you are receiving state-of-the-art care and treatment.

Your Iridology Assessment will include a customized plan, taking into account your specific condition and personal lifestyle.  Your particular remedies will be thoroughly discussed and follow-up appointments will be scheduled.  Your follow-up appointment is included in the cost of the program of your choosing.

How long will it take for me to feel better?

Depending on your condition, most clients experience a noticeable improvement within days of the Initial Treatment.  Clients who follow their treatment plan continue to see significant improvement for weeks following their Initial Treatment.

What are your office hours?

The Iridologist is available by appointment only during the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.  To arrange an appointment with the Iridologist outside of regular business hours, contact the office.

What are your fees?

The total fee for the three appointments is $429.00.  Maintenance follow-up visits may be scheduled as needed at the rate of $85.00 or as a package of five prepaid visits for $679.00, to be used within twelve months of purchase. Initial treatment begins with a one hour Iridology examination and consultation which includes a thorough health history evaluation to identify areas for correction and a customized, wellness management plan.

Will my insurance pay for my treatment?

Complementary therapies are covered by most private insurance funds.  If you do not have this coverage, all costs are the responsibility of the client. To avoid any confusion contact your insurance directly prior to your visit to understand what your policy will cover.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes, discounts are available for seniors, active military personnel, couples and full-time students.

What if I need to reach you?

Carla Buscaglia responds to your personal e-mails within 24 hours.  General questions may be directed to office personnel during business hours.

What if I need to cancel my appointment?

Please contact the office as soon as you know that you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.  If you miss your appointment or cancel less than 48 hours of your appointment time, you will be charged $75.00 for the visit.  We have a waiting list of clients that can fill your appointment time, so please contact us as soon as possible with any changes to your scheduled visits.
